LLG-Cuvettes are most frequently used in analytical laboratories.They have two clear windows, two side walls and are available as optical glass or quartz variants. The walls and the base are polished inside and frosted outside. The thickness of the windows and the base is 1.25 mm. Traditional spectrophotometrical analysis of nucleic acids is carried out in 10mm cuvettes. Modern drop analysis uses light paths of 1mm and 0.2mm and it is thus not necessary to dilute the sample. In applications with very high or very low DNA concentrations these light paths are often no longer sufficient. When using the TrayCell from Hellma Analytics simply adjust the light path by exchanging the cap. Cap with integrated mirror to change the light path.
