When dispensing combustible/explosive liquids pump, both dispensing and filling drum involved in the process must be sufficiently earthed, in order to prevent ignition or explosion through electrostatic discharges. Only the tube comes into contact with the liquid when the pumps are used, so that a great deal of liquid can be filled off.
