Description
Syringe filters are suitable for rapid sample filtration and are used in a variety of applications, such as capillary electrophoresis, protein filtration, and UV spectroscopy sample preparation. With female Luer lock inlet.
For the ready-to-use filter units, only virgin raw material is used. This ensures that there is no interaction with the sample to be filtered, provided that the units are used properly. The filter units are intended for laboratory use only.
Note: If syringes with a volume <10 ml are used, a pressure could be created which exceeds the max. operating pressure (700 kPa/7 bar) of the filter unit.
Hydrophilic membrane. It is recommended for filtration of aqueous and organic/aqueous medium polar liquids.

The syringe filters are used for filtration of suspended matter from liquid samples and are certified for HPLC. Standard CHROMAFIL syringe filters are color coded. CHROMAFIL Xtra syringe filters are labeled for method validation and certification. All CHROMAFIL syringe filters are autoclavable (121 °C and 1.1 bar for 30 min).A hydrophobic membrane. Ideal for filtration of non-polar liquids and gases. It is very resistant to various solvents as well as acids and bases. By flushing with alcohol, followed by water, the original hydrophobic membrane can be made more hydrophilic.
